General Medicine
Middle level health care providers are the backbone of the government health care delivery system. Indeed, health assistants are the junior and all round physicians. They serve as medical, surgical, gynecological, obstetrics, pediatrics and other health care consultants. They are also the foundation for public health programs. The course is designed especially for fulfillment of lower level physicians in Nepal.


What after completion?
Nobody can ignore the wide scope after completion of the PCL General Medicine. Being a graduate is itself good. Besides, you can expect several things along with your degree:

  • Registration in Nepal Health Professional Council as HEALTH ASSISTANT.
  • Health Post in-charge in health posts and primary health care centers in the government's health care delivery network.
  • Private practice in clinic/nursing homes.
  • Job opportunities in NGOs/INGOs.
